Highlights of Northern Vietnam

Following breakfast in Hanoi, the group will travel to Bac Kan with the help of the tour guide. After about six hours of driving, we will reach Ba Be Lake, Vietnam's largest naturally occurring freshwater lake.

You will enjoy a rustic lunch with local specialties, both delicious and rich in mountain flavors.

Continuing the journey, the group will check in at a traditional homestay of the Tay people, where you will experience the daily life of the indigenous people.

After resting and getting used to the new space, we will begin our exploration of Ba Be Lake with a traditional canoe trip.

You will go up the Nang River by boat, passing past cliffs to arrive at Puong Cave, a natural wonder. Entering the cave, you will be overwhelmed by the mysterious beauty of the diverse stalactites and unique ecosystem. In particular, watching thousands of bats living in the cave will bring visitors an extremely interesting experience.

You will be awakened by the delicious taste of a rustic breakfast at a local family. After saying goodbye to the local people, the group will depart for Cao Bang, the land of outstanding spiritual people.

Coming to Ban Pac Rang, you will feel like you are lost in a world of traditional crafts. This forging village with a history of more than 200 years is always bustling with the sounds of hammers and fires. Take time to learn about unique blacksmithing techniques, admire exquisite handcrafted products, and chat with skilled craftsmen.

As they continue their journey, the group will reach the magnificent Ban Gioc Waterfall. Known as one of the largest waterfalls in the world, Ban Gioc has both majestic and poetic beauty. You will admire the panoramic view of the waterfall from many different angles, feel the coolness of the water, and enjoy the fresh air of the mountains and forests.

On the way back to Cao Bang town, you will explore Nguom Ngao Cave, one of the most beautiful caves in Vietnam. The system of stalactites in all shapes and sizes, shimmering and fanciful, will take you to a magical world.

At the end of a day of exploration, the group will return to Cao Bang town to rest and prepare for the next journey.

The third day of the Highlights of Northern Vietnam tour will take visitors to Ha Giang, the majestic rocky plateau to conquer the rugged mountain passes and explore the unique cultural features of the ethnic people here.

The renowned Ma Pi Leng pass is the first stop. Dubbed the 'Great Wall' of Vietnam, Ma Pi Leng curves between cliffs, creating a breathtakingly majestic scene. From the top of the pass, visitors will admire the panoramic view of Dong Van stone plateau with stretching green terraced fields and ancient walled houses hidden among the mountains and forests.
