At the beginning of the Glance of Central and Northern Vietnam tour, you will arrive in the beautiful city of Danang. Known as one of the most livable cities in Vietnam, Danang welcomes visitors with fresh air, long beaches, and modern architecture.

Halong Bay, a UNESCO-designated natural heritage site, is one of the most well-known places to visit in Vietnam and should not be missed when visiting the country.
After breakfast at the hotel, the shuttle bus will pick you up in Hanoi Old Quarter and depart for Halong Bay in the Glance of Central and Northern Vietnam tour.
On the way, you will stop at a Rest Stop to relax and enjoy a drink (at your own expense). In addition, you can also visit local handicraft stalls and choose unique souvenirs.

I took so many photos in Hoi An. The streets were glowing with colorful lights and it felt magical. We also tried Cao Lau noodles which had a very unique flavor. The old town is very walkable and great for families.
Even though the tour was just five days, we felt like we saw a lot. From old temples to beach views to a cruise through Halong Bay, every day was something new. The guide was knowledgeable but gave us time to explore on our own too.
We were lucky with the weather that day. The sunset over the limestone islands was beautiful, everything turned orange and gold. The boat was comfortable and the seafood was fresh. That evening felt like the highlight of the whole trip.
I enjoyed visiting the stone carving village after climbing Ngu Hanh Son. Watching the artists work with their hands was very calming. There were so many details in every sculpture. I picked up a small carved elephant as a souvenir.
We had some time on the last morning to explore the old town in Hanoi. The streets were lively but not stressful. I had a good bowl of pho at a small place near Hoan Kiem Lake. It was a great way to wrap up the trip.
Halong Bay was the best part for me. The caves were bigger than I imagined and the rock shapes were fun to photograph. I also tried kayaking for the first time and it was easier than I thought. A peaceful day out on the water.
I didn’t expect to enjoy both Danang and Halong Bay so much. Danang gave us fresh air and open spaces, then Halong was like another world. The Glance of Central and Northern Vietnam tour showed us so many sides of the country in a short time.
The lanterns in Hoi An were lovely, especially when the lights came on in the evening. Walking through the narrow streets with old houses made us feel like we were somewhere timeless. I also enjoyed watching the locals selling fruit near the bridge.
I liked how calm the Linh Ung Pagoda felt. The Guanyin statue was huge and the view over Danang was beautiful. We got there early so it wasn’t crowded. The air was fresh and the whole place felt very peaceful.
