Today, you will have a day to fully explore places to visit in Hanoi.
08:00 am: After breakfast at the hotel, you check out and send your luggage. The car and tour guide will pick you up and depart to visit the famous historical and cultural landmarks of Hanoi city.
The first destination in this Hanoi tour is the special national historical relic site of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. You will have the opportunity to visit Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, the resting place of the beloved leader of the Vietnamese people, along with architectural works with bold historical imprints such as Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh House on Stilt, and One Pillar Pagoda. (Note: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.)
Next in the Classic Tour North of Vietnam, you will visit the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, the first university in Vietnam. This place has preserved the cultural and educational values of the nation for thousands of years, with ancient architecture and heroic historical stories.
Have lunch at a local restaurant of your choice.

The car will take you back to the hotel. For the rest of the day, guests can relax at the hotel or tour the city on their own.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, where you will be picked up by a local guide and transferred to the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, Ninh Binh - one of the top places to visit in Vietnam (approximately 100 km from Hanoi, a 2-hour drive).
Hoa Lu, a thousand-year-old ancient capital, welcomes visitors with massive historical relic complexes, nestled amid majestic natural scenery in the Classic Tour North of Vietnam.
Visitors will visit unique architectural works of the Dinh and Le dynasties, dating from the 10th century, and immerse themselves in the magical beauty of “Halong Bay on land”.

From 8:00 am - 8:30 am, the shuttle bus will be at the hotel to pick you up. After a short travel time, we will arrive at the pier and start exploring places to visit in Halong Bay on a luxury cruise.
At around 12:00 noon, you will be welcomed on board and check in at modern, luxuriously designed cabins, making you feel as comfortable as being in your own home.
Immediately afterward, you will enjoy a delicious, fresh seafood lunch with typical dishes of the Halong Sea.

I liked how the tour mixed sightseeing and quiet nature. Halong Bay was so pretty, and the temple visits gave me a deeper understanding of Vietnamese culture. I took lots of photos and met kind people along the way. Would recommend this tour for sure.
We floated through caves and passed golden rice fields. It felt like I was in a movie. Our boat lady didn’t speak much English but she smiled the whole way. It was so peaceful out there. This part of the trip slowed things down in the best way.
I loved the energy of Hanoi. It’s loud, it’s colorful, but also has peaceful spots like the Temple of Literature and lakeside cafes. The food was so tasty too. Especially the bun cha and fresh spring rolls. I’d go back just to eat more!
Visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Hoa Lo Prison made me see Vietnam in a whole new way. The guide explained everything clearly and answered all our questions. After that, we chilled at Hoan Kiem Lake. It was a good mix of info and chill time.
The whole trip felt very well planned. Not rushed at all. I had time to enjoy each place, take photos, try local food. I loved walking around Hanoi’s Old Quarter. The temples, the people, the lights at night, very special memories for me.
We stayed overnight on a boat and it was just wow. Woke up to the view of limestone cliffs rising from the water. We did some kayaking too which was super fun. The vibe was peaceful but not boring. One of the best days I’ve had in years.
This Classic Tour North of Vietnam gave me everything I was hoping for. Culture, nature, and a bit of history too. I learned a lot at the mausoleum and Hoa Lo Prison. Then Halong Bay came as the perfect ending. Calm, beautiful, and peaceful. Just what I needed.
Ninh Binh was my fav part. The boat ride on Tam Coc was unreal. Green fields, calm water, and those big limestone cliffs. It was so quiet, just the sound of the oars and birds. Felt like I was inside a postcard or something.
I didn’t expect to like Hanoi this much. The old streets, the lakes, the cafes, it was all super chill. I took a cyclo ride in the afternoon, and it felt like going back in time. So many small things made the day feel special. And omg, the egg coffee is a must!
