On the second day of the Southern Vietnam Impression tour, visitors visit vibrant Ho Chi Minh City.
After breakfast at the hotel, the group will depart for Cu Chi Tunnels - a huge underground tunnel system built by Vietnamese people during the resistance war, with a total length of nearly 200km. Visitors will be able to witness firsthand the magic of this unique architectural work, and better understand the lives and battles of local people in the past.
On the way back to Ho Chi Minh City, the group will have lunch at a local restaurant, enjoying specialties with strong Southern flavors.
In the afternoon, we will explore places to visit in Ho Chi Minh, including Notre Dame Cathedral with its unique Gothic architecture, the City Post Office with its ancient French style, and Independence Palace - which marks many important events in Vietnam's history and the War Remnants Museum - a place to preserve artifacts and authentic images of the resistance war against the US to save the country.
To better understand the lives of Saigon people in this Ho Chi Minh City tour, you will be taken to Ben Thanh market - the busiest commercial center in the city. You can enjoy typical street foods such as banh cuon, banh xeo, noodles, etc., and explore countless stalls selling handicraft products and local specialties.
Return to the hotel to rest and prepare for the next activities tomorrow.

After breakfast, your tour guide will pick you up and depart from Ho Chi Minh City to the Mekong Delta.
The first destination on the Cai Be Tour is the Cai Be Floating Market - one of the lively symbols of the Mekong Delta with boats full of fresh fruit and typical regional products.
Next in the Southern Vietnam Impression tour, you will visit traditional handicraft production facilities, and learn the process of making specialty products such as rice paper, rice flakes, coconut candy, etc. Through that, you will understand better the ingenuity and meticulousness of local people in creating these local specialties.

Cai Rang Floating Market was a real highlight for me. It was bustling and colorful, with people making breakfast right on the boats. Southern Vietnam Impression gave us a rich and diverse tour that showed the heart of southern life in just a few days.
It was so refreshing to leave the city and see how life flows along the river. I loved waking up early for the floating market and watching the sun come up over the boats. Our homestay in Can Tho was cozy and welcoming. Everyone we met was incredibly kind.
We tried so many different foods, from street snacks in Ben Thanh to fresh fish cooked right in the garden. The riverboat rides were peaceful and relaxing. Learning how coconut candy was made was such a cool hands-on moment.
From the dinner cruise in Saigon to exploring Cai Rang market at sunrise, this trip was packed with memorable moments. I loved how the tour mixed food, history, and nature. The Southern Vietnam Impression tour gave my sister and me a great bonding trip we’ll never forget.
My favorite part was biking through the village roads. We passed rice paddies, waved to farmers, and even stopped to try tropical fruits from a garden. The pace of this tour was just right, active but never rushed. It felt like a real local experience.
The garden lunch with folk music was such a lovely surprise. Everything was homemade and super fresh. I liked the boat trip through small canals, it was peaceful and scenic. Our guide was friendly and shared a lot of interesting cultural stories along the way.

Ho Chi Minh City had such cool energy. We explored historical sites, ate street food, and took lots of photos at the post office and the cathedral. Then switching to the peaceful river life in Cai Be and Can Tho was a total change of pace and I loved both sides of it.
The Cu Chi Tunnels were mind-blowing. Crawling through those narrow spaces made me appreciate the history even more. Then cruising on the Saigon River while eating dinner was just the perfect way to wrap up the day. Southern Vietnam Impression gave us a packed but well-paced itinerary.
