Today, we will explore together famous and culturally impressive places to visit in Vientiane. This small city will surprise you with its harmonious combination of ancient French architecture and splendid Buddhist temples.
Our Vietnam and Laos tours will begin at Wat Sisaket, the oldest remaining temple in Vientiane. This place has overcome many ups and downs in history and still retains its pristine beauty. What's special is that the walls inside the temple are decorated with thousands of extremely sophisticated silver and ceramic Buddha statues.
Next, we will go to Wat Phra Keo, a temple that once housed the famous Emerald Buddha. Currently, the pagoda has become a religious museum, displaying unique art collections of Laos and Khmer.
On this Laos tour package, Wat Si Muang is our next destination. This is the holiest temple in Vientiane, revered by local people.
