Today, we will explore one of the greatest mysteries of Laos together - the Plain of Jars. Recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2019, this place contains thousands of giant stone jars, stretching across green fields.

Symbolizing a once-flourishing civilization, these stone jars are still a big question mark for archaeologists. There is a theory that they are urns to hold ashes, or maybe used to brew traditional “Lao Lao” wine. The image of large and small stone jars scattered on the plain seems to tell a mysterious historical story, waiting for you to discover.

We will go together to Ban Ang, where the largest number of stone jars is concentrated. Here, you will admire giant jars, weighing tons and up to 4 meters high.

After that, we will visit the small monastery in Ban Xieng Di and Ban Napia village - known as 'Chien Spoon Village', which was once a fierce battlefield in the resistance war against the US.
