Early in the morning, you will embark on a relaxing 3-day journey to explore the unspoiled beauty of Southern Laos. The plane will take you to Pakse, the gateway to the vast river world of the Mekong.

You will board the Vat Phou Mekong boat, a luxurious floating house, ready to take you to famous places to visit in Pakse such as Wat Phou - a UNESCO world heritage site, Siphadon and Pha Pheng waterfall - the most majestic waterfall in Southeast Asia.

Our cruise begins with a traditional breakfast on board, while the boat slowly leaves the dock. Then we will visit Tomo village, an ancient village with traditional stilt houses and the sacred Oum Muong forest temple.

Continuing this Laos Itinerary for 8 days, we will explore 4,000 Islands, a pristine archipelago with a diverse ecosystem. You will admire lush green mangrove forests and wild animals.

We will travel to Ban Deua Tia, a village in Laos that still maintains its distinct traditional culture, in the afternoon. You will participate in local activities, such as weaving, making crafts, etc.

You'll be having a light breakfast on the deck while floating along the Mekong River's Vat Phou this morning. Then we will go to the lovely small village of Ban Veuthong. From here, you will experience the unique feeling of weaving through 4,000 Islands by a small boat to reach Khone Island. 

You will have the opportunity to explore the ancient French railway, admire French colonial-style houses, and walk across the bridge connecting Khone Island and Det Island in this Laos Itinerary for 8 days.

During your Laos tour package, at noon, we will enjoy local specialties together at a restaurant right on the riverbank on Don Khone Island. In the afternoon, you will admire the majestic beauty of Khone PhaPheng waterfall - known as the “Niagara of the East’’. Finally, we will return to Pakse by car.
