Boarding the Shompoo Cruise to depart at 2 PM, you will be taken to one of the most famous natural wonders of Laos - Kuang Si Waterfall. While the boat is cruising, you will admire the poetic scenery of the Mekong River and peaceful villages.

Upon arrival, you will have about 2 hours to explore the wild beauty of the multi-tiered waterfall, with crystal-clear turquoise lakes. You can enjoy swimming, relaxing under the cool green trees, or simply enjoying the fresh air of the mountains and forests.

At 4:30 PM, we will depart back to Muang Khai pier. During the return trip, you will enjoy a light dinner with local specialties and watch the beautiful sunset on the Mekong River.

If you depart from Thailand: You depart from Chiang Khong (Thailand) at 7:30 am. Our staff will assist you to complete the entry procedures and apply for a Lao visa quickly and conveniently. After that, you will be picked up by a shuttle bus to the pier.

If you depart from Houay Xay: For those who are already in Houay Xay, the shuttle bus will pick you up at the hotel between 9:00 - 9:30 am to move to the pier.

While cruising on the Mekong River, you will be enthusiastically shared by the tour guide with useful knowledge about the culture, people, and landscape of Laos.
