Our first destination is the famous Kuang Si Waterfall, a natural masterpiece with many majestic cascades pouring into clear turquoise lakes. The new day begins on Heritage Line Anouvong cruise with a beautiful sunrise view of the Mekong River, with a cup of aromatic coffee or Lao herbal tea at the bar.

Then, you can join a relaxing yoga class on the deck, with a panoramic view of the sacred Wat Xieng Thong temple.

After breakfast, you will join a journey to explore Luang Prabang, a world cultural heritage recognized by UNESCO. Stroll along the ancient streets, and admire the exquisite French architecture combined with the traditional beauty of Laos. Visit ancient temples, and learn about the unique Buddhist culture.

In particular, you will stop at the ancient Lamache house to enjoy a cup of rich Lao tea, admire the time-stained walls, and listen to interesting historical stories about this place.

Returning to the Heritage Line Anouvong cruise, you will be served lunch with local specialties.

Then, we will visit the old Royal Palace which has been converted into the National Museum, a massive and magnificent architectural work, which was once the residence of Lao kings. You will have the opportunity to admire precious artifacts, beautiful paintings, and exquisite jewelry collections, helping you better understand the culture and long history of the Land of a Million Elephants.

In the afternoon, you are free to explore the city center, shop for unique souvenirs at the local market, or relax at a roadside cafe, sip a cup of Lao coffee, and enjoy the fresh air of the sunset.

When night falls, you will disembark and go to Le Caloa restaurant to enjoy a romantic dinner by the Mekong River and watch traditional Lao art performances.

Before dawn, you will have the opportunity to witness one of the most unique spiritual rituals of the Lao people - the alms-giving ceremony. Hundreds of monks in golden robes will quietly walk along the streets, receiving small gifts from the people.

Leaving Luang Prabang, we will go upstream on the legendary Mekong River to explore Pak Ou Cave. During the journey, the tour guide will share interesting stories about the lives of local people and the cultural diversity along the river.

Coming to Pak Ou Cave, visitors will admire thousands of Buddha statues placed in two natural caves. Together we will explore the lower cave, where the most Buddha statues are concentrated. The sparkling light from the candles and the scent of incense blend to create a quiet space, helping you find peace of mind.

Through a small trail through the tropical forest, we will reach the village. Upon arrival, you will admire the traditional farming activities of the H'Mong people and learn about their unique farming techniques.

In particular, visitors will enjoy a very special traditional music performance. Villagers in colorful costumes will introduce visitors to the unique Kene instrument and play melodious, soulful melodies. Along with that are graceful traditional dances, creating a vibrant festival atmosphere.

When the afternoon falls, our Heritage Line Anouvong will dock at a special village, where three ethnic groups, Hmong, Lao Loum, and Khamo, live together in harmony. This is a rare opportunity for you to admire the unique cultural diversity of this land.

In the village, you will visit a local family, where representatives of each ethnic group will share about life, customs, and interesting oral stories. The theoretical knowledge shared before will become more vivid than ever when witnessed directly.

If the weather is favorable, we will take you to visit organic gardens, where local people grow specialty crops. You will have the opportunity to enjoy fresh products right in the garden.

After dinner, you will be invited to the cinema to enjoy the classic film "Chiang" (Elephant). Produced in 1927 by the director of the famous King Kong, "Chiang" is a valuable cinematic work, capturing authentic images of the lives of local people.

After an exciting 3-night cruise, today is a more relaxed time, allowing you to enjoy the memories of our journey.

With a long way to go to Huay Xai, our final stop, today we will combine moments of rest and exploration.

You can enjoy a comfortable sleep and wake up later. Breakfast today will be simpler and lighter, making room for a hearty brunch later with many special dishes, as a farewell to this land.

As the Heritage Line Anouvong cruise sails deeper into the heart of the Golden Triangle, you can choose to relax or attend a fascinating presentation about the history of this legendary land. You will discover thrilling stories of colonialism, opium trafficking, conflicts, and the role of great powers such as Britain, France, China, and the United States in shaping the Golden Triangle.

The Golden Triangle, where the borders of Myanmar, Thailand, and Laos meet, is a land of mystery and legend. The name "Golden Triangle" was given by the CIA to this area, associated with illegal activities in the past.

Then, the Heritage Line Anouvong passes the confluence of the Mekong River and the Nam Tha River, a tributary known as the "Green River". With skillful craftsmanship, the captain will take the cruise through rapids, waterfalls, and fine white sand beaches, giving you stunning views from the deck.

Before hunger strikes, you will participate in a special cooking class. Under the guidance of professional chefs, you will prepare a brunch buffet with famous traditional dishes of the land of a million elephants.
