I brought my parents, and this was their first time in Asia. They were amazed by Hanoi’s Old Quarter and loved the boat ride in Tam Coc. The guide explained everything clearly so they felt comfortable. It was a good first step for them to see Vietnam.
My favorite part wasn’t even the big sights, it was sitting on the deck at night on the cruise. Stars above, quiet water, just relaxing with a drink. Those little moments made the whole trip special.
I liked how the trip mixed busy Hanoi with calm Ninh Binh and then Halong. First day was street food and noise, then suddenly quiet villages and rice fields, then ending on the sea. It felt like three different sides of Vietnam in one short trip.
We took our two kids, ages 7 and 10, and they loved the boat in Halong Bay. The staff were kind and even helped them try squid fishing. The kids still talk about the caves and the boat lady rowing with her feet. It was both fun and safe for families.
My husband and I booked this trip last minute, and Halong Bay was the highlight. The cave was huge and impressive, way more than we expected. We also liked the cooking class together, even if our rolls weren’t pretty. Such a fun surprise in the middle of the trip.
I joined this tour alone but never felt lonely. The guide was friendly and the group was easy to chat with. I even made a few friends while having drinks on the cruise. It’s a good trip for solo travelers who don’t want to plan everything by themselves.
I went with two of my best friends and we laughed the whole time. Cycling through the villages was so fun because the kids kept saying hello. We took tons of photos at Mua Cave, climbing together made it easier. Such good memories to share.
I brought my parents along and they enjoyed the slow boat ride in Tam Coc. It wasn’t too tiring for them, just peaceful and beautiful. They also liked the buffet meals with lots of variety. This tour worked well for all ages.
I went with my boyfriend and we both loved Halong Bay. Watching the sunset together on the deck felt really romantic. Dinner on the cruise was so nice, like a mini date night. We both agreed it was the best part of the whole trip.
This was my first trip to Vietnam and I couldn’t have asked for a better intro. The guides made everything smooth, transport was on time, and the places were amazing. Hanoi had energy, Ninh Binh was peaceful, and Halong was beautiful. Now I just want to come back for longer.
Honestly, the schedule was a bit packed, but it meant I saw a lot in just five days. My favorite was Train Street, so crazy to see locals living just inches from the tracks. I’d never seen anything like that before. Tiring but totally worth it.
The sunset over Halong Bay was like a painting. Everyone just sat quietly watching the sky change colors. It was one of those rare calm moments where you forget about everything else. Ending the day like that was perfect.
The sampan boat trip in Tam Coc was the highlight for me. Floating under caves and past rice fields felt almost unreal. The lady rowing our boat was super strong, using just her feet! I still can’t stop talking about it to my friends back home.
The food on this trip was way better than I thought. From street food in Hanoi to buffet on the cruise, I never went hungry. I liked the cooking demo on board, even if my spring rolls looked ugly. Would’ve liked a bit more free time, but overall still great.
This tour really had a bit of everything - city, countryside, and the sea. Hanoi was lively, Ninh Binh was relaxing, and Halong Bay was stunning. I liked that nothing felt rushed, even with so many places to see. It felt like five days just flew by.
Visiting the Temple of Literature was one of my highlights. The place has such a peaceful vibe compared to busy Hanoi streets. The guide told funny stories about students from hundreds of years ago, which made it more interesting. It was cool to see history mixed with daily life.
I’m not super fit, but I managed the steps up Mua Cave slowly. The view at the top was worth every step. Rice fields, mountains, everything looked so calm from above. Cycling in Ninh Binh later that day made me feel like I was back in my own village, very homey.
My favorite part was just sitting on the cruise deck with a coffee, watching the limestone islands go by. Didn’t even need to do much, the view was enough. Evening squid fishing was fun even though I didn’t catch anything. The trip felt like a good break from city life.
I didn’t expect Hanoi to be this fun at night. Walking Street around Hoan Kiem was packed but the music, street games, and food stalls made it amazing. Tried egg coffee for the first time, weird but tasty. Perfect way to start the trip before heading south.
My first time in Vietnam and this trip was exactly what I needed. In just five days I got to see Hanoi, Ninh Binh, and Halong Bay, each so different. The guides were friendly and made everything simple. North Vietnam Itinerary 5 days is perfect for first-time visitors like me.
Halong Bay was more beautiful than I imagined. The water was so green and the caves were huge. Sleeping on the boat was really peaceful, and I even enjoyed the Tai Chi in the morning. Definitely the best part of my trip to Vietnam.
Arriving on Friday night was perfect because of the Walking Street. Live music, street games, and so much food to try. I even had local beer for the first time and it was great. A super fun start before heading out to the countryside.
Cycling in Ninh Binh was such a highlight. Small paths, buffalo in the fields, kids shouting hello, it all felt very real and welcoming. The climb to Mua Cave was a bit of exercise but the view at the top was worth it. North Vietnam Itinerary 5 days gave us so many good experiences.
The sunset in Halong Bay was unforgettable. Sitting on the deck with a drink and watching the sky turn orange and pink was perfect. The cooking class was fun too, I finally learned how to roll spring rolls properly. A nice mix of activities and relaxing moments.
The Tam Coc boat ride was so peaceful, floating through rice fields and under caves. Seeing locals row with their feet was amazing. Lunch was tasty and then we biked through small villages, which felt really authentic. The whole day was calm and well planned, no rushing.
I enjoyed the history side of the trip. Walking around Hoa Lu temples and learning about the old capital was fascinating. The Temple of Literature had such a nice atmosphere. I chose the Women’s Museum and was surprised by how interesting it was. A good balance of learning and fun.
Spending the night on Halong Bay was unforgettable. The cabin was comfy, food was delicious, and the sunset on the deck was beautiful. I even tried squid fishing, didn’t catch any but it was fun to try. Visiting Sung Sot Cave and Titov Island made the trip even better. North Vietnam Itinerary 5 days gave me both adventure and time to relax.
The climb up Mua Cave was a bit tough in the heat, but once on top the view was amazing. Rice fields and limestone mountains stretching out as far as you can see. Cycling through Ninh Binh villages was also really relaxing, with locals smiling and waving. Felt like I stepped into a postcard.
Hanoi felt so alive! Streets full of scooters, food stalls on every corner, and people everywhere. The Old Quarter was busy but fun, like a big maze of shops and cafés. Train Street was unbelievable, watching the train pass that close is crazy. North Vietnam Itinerary 5 days made it easy to enjoy all of this without worrying.
