Today you will discover the most iconic sights in the charismatic city of Vientiane. Get ready for some French colonial architecture & sacred Buddhist temples.
Our ultimate Vientiane tour begins at Wat Sisaket with 2000 silver and ceramic Buddha images on the niches on the walls.
The next trip is to visit the rare collection of Lao and Khmer artifacts in Wat Phra Keo. Then, you will visit Wat Si Muang - the most sacred temple in the city- before you come to the Patuxai Monument, which is the symbol of Laos for its signature shape and tragic history.
The 7-day Laos itinerary continues as we visit the famous Pha That Luang with the golden spire and the Buddha Park, a large area with thousands of Buddha statues.

After breakfast, our driver will take you to the airport for a domestic flight to Luang Prabang. Meet your next guide on arrival and have some introduction to Luang Prabang.
Quietly lying between the Mekong and Nam Khan Rivers, Luang Prabang is a magical land with colorful markets, ornate monasteries, and colonial architecture.
Spend the very first moments capturing the ancient streets, and visit the magnificent stupa of Wat Wisunarat, one of the most historically important temples to local people. The next stop is Wat That Luang, traditionally the crematorium for Lao Royalty.
The Luang Prabang tour continues to Wat Xieng Thong, a 16th-century temple showing the elegance and grace of local architecture with a classic Lao-style roof.
Then visit Wat Mai and the National Museum, before climbing to the top of Mount Phousi at sunset. The town lying across the Mekong and Khan rivers creates perfect scenery.

After breakfast, embark on a two-hour Mekong River cruise to visit the mysterious Pak Ou Caves on a guided tour. Also called Tam Ting, the caves are filled with gold-lacquered Buddha statues of all shapes and sizes.
As the cruise continues, watch locals living their laid-back daily lives on the riverbanks.
Return to Luang Prabang. En route, we will stop by textiles and Lao whiskey villages through verdant rice paddies.
As the sky darkens, your guide leads you to the tastiest foot stalls to enjoy an array of cuisine like a local. Then, sit down to enjoy a BBQ overlooking the Mekong.

Wake up before dawn to witness the holiest ritual in Luang Prabang: almsgiving. Long lines of orange-robed monks leave their pagodas and collect offerings from Luang Prabang residents.
Back to your hotel for breakfast, then spend the morning exploring picturesque waterfalls named Kuang Si. But first, we will visit the nearby Kuang Si Bear Rescue Centre which has rescued many bears from illegal traders.
Next, stroll through the national park to the Kuang Si Waterfalls, famous for multi-tiered turquoise pools. Optional activity is to climb up the top and go for a swim.
Settle in the park and enjoy a picnic lunch in nature.
Return to the town to rewind or explore more of Luang Prabang on your own.
