Tran Quoc Pagoda was such a peaceful start to the day. We had time to grab coffee by West Lake before moving on to Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and the Temple of Literature. The cyclo ride through the Old Quarter was my favorite part – so much life on every street.
Loved starting the trip in Hanoi Old Quarter. The walking tour hit all the right spots like Hoan Kiem Lake and the Temple, and the water puppet show was better than I expected. Dinner on the first night set the tone for the trip – good food and easy conversation with the group. Great way to kick off the 16-Day Classic Vietnam and Cambodia Tour from Hanoi.

SpainThe drive to Vietnam and Cambodia was long, but the views made it worth it. My highlight was Halong Bay – not crowded, friendly locals, and the best sunset in Halong Bay. Felt like we had the place to ourselves. I took way too many photos.
