We walked through farms, forests, and along lake paths. Nothing too hard, but shoes with grip helped. I liked that the walks led to real villages, not just tourist places.
We spent a lot of time on the road, but the mountains made up for it. I liked taking photos at the rest stops. The schedule gave us enough breaks and time to enjoy each place without feeling rushed.
We saw many beautiful spots, but I also enjoyed hearing about the ethnic groups and their traditions. Our guide explained everything clearly and was open to questions. It helped me understand the region more.
I wasn’t sure what to expect with village stays, but they were warm and friendly. The beds were comfy and the meals were always fresh. I liked waking up to the sounds of birds and not traffic.
