Mekong Eyes Classic Cruise

In the morning, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Saigon and take you to Can Tho or Cai Be, where your wooden Mekong River cruise awaits. After a refreshing welcome drink, you’ll settle into your cozy cabin and explore the boat’s facilities. As we set sail, enjoy a delicious lunch on board while watching the beautiful scenery of the Mekong River and the daily life along the water.

In the afternoon, we can step ashore for a guided walk through a local village, passing fruit orchards and rice fields. You’ll have the chance to meet friendly locals and taste fresh tropical fruits all included in Mekong Delta tour packages.

Back on board, visitors can chill with a drink at the bar or relax on deck as the sun sets over the river. The Mekong Eyes Cruise will anchor for the night, and you’ll enjoy a delightful dinner before resting in your floating hotel.

6:30 AM: Wake up to the gentle sounds of the river as the boat sets off for a sunrise cruise. While enjoying breakfast on deck, you can watch the locals dry exotic fruits and build wooden boats along the shore.

After breakfast, we’ll take a sampan boat ride to Cai Rang Floating Market, one of the busiest and most colorful markets in the Mekong Delta. On even dates, you’ll explore Cai Be’s small canals by sampan or on foot. You can see boats loaded with fresh produce, talk with local merchants, and experience the region’s lively trade scene.

Continue with visits to local candy and cake-making workshops, where you can see traditional sweets being made. Later, we’ll cruise through lush landscapes on a small rowing sampan, passing local houses, fruit orchards, and boat-building yards. If you prefer, you can explore the nearby town on foot or cycle through the quiet side canals.

As the cruise continues, we enjoy a delicious lunch on board, followed by another excursion to a charming village along the river in the afternoon.

Start your day with breakfast on board as the boat sails through the peaceful morning atmosphere. If you’re in Can Tho, visit Cai Rang Floating Market again for a last glimpse of the Mekong’s bustling trade. 11:00 AM: It’s time to disembark. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then relax in a shuttle bus or private car as we drive towards Chau Doc, where you’ll check into your hotel for the night.
