Day 2 of the Laos Itinerary 6 days begins early, giving you the fantastic opportunity to witness the captivating centuries-old tradition of the alms-giving ceremony, known as Tak Bat. Before sunrise, hundreds of saffron-clad monks from the 35 temples in the old town collect their daily alms from devoted local residents.
After that, you can walk and check out many cool places to visit in Luang Prabang. You can take a walk to the awesome Wat Wisunarat stupa, which is like a museum about religion.
Your next stop on Luang Prabang Tours will be Wat That Luang, traditionally the cremation site for Lao royalty, which houses the ashes of King Sisavang Vong & his brother erected in 1910.

After you've had breakfast, on the 4th day of your Laos Itinerary for 6 days, you'll spend the morning checking out one of Luang Prabang's most amazing waterfalls, Kuang Si. You'll trek through the jungle to get to the nearby Kuang Si Bear Rescue Centre.
This place was set up in 2003 to save bears from wildlife traffickers and traditional medicine sellers. You'll even get the chance to help feed the bears at midday.
After visiting the bear rescue center, you will go to Kuang Si Waterfall, where a beautiful 60-meter cascade flows into turquoise pools. You can take a refreshing dip in the cool water or explore the trails leading to the upper falls.
Here, you’ll enjoy a nice picnic in the park, you'll head back to town for some free time to chill or explore on your own.
Later in the day, you'll catch a flight to Vientiane, the Laos capital situated along the Mekong River and close to the Thai border, this city is the historical capital of Laos.
When arriving in Vientiane, tourists can check in the hotel and take some time to relax. It’s suggested that you walk along the river, sip a cold drink, or try a snack from one of the many local food stalls.

On day 5 of the Laos Itinerary 6 days, visitors get to explore the many spots and iconic tourist attractions of Vientiane. It's got some neat French colonial buildings and beautiful Buddhist temples, giving you a mix of cultures to soak in.
Your day kicks off at Wat Sisaket, one of the oldest places to visit in Vientiane, which managed to stay intact even after the Siamese invasion of 1828. The temple walls are decked out with nooks holding over 2,000 silver and ceramic Buddha images. Next up, you'll swing by Wat Phra Keo, originally made to house the famous Emerald Buddha. These days, it's a museum showing off Lao and Khmer art.
After that, you'll make your way to Wat Si Muang, the most happening temple in town, and then visit Patuxai Monument, which is Laos' take on the Arc de Triomphe and a major landmark in the city.
Your Vientiane Tours will also include the golden Pha That Luang, put up in the 16th century and seen as the holiest place in Laos. Don't forget to visit Buddha Park, which was created in 1958 by Luang Pu, a yogi-priest shaman.
