We booked Ginger Cruise on a whim during our Vietnam trip, and it ended up being our favorite experience I still remember waking up to the silence and mist over the water. The food was incredible too I’m vegetarian and the chef went out of his way to prepare creative dishes just for me. Wish we’d stayed longerrrrr.
We knew it was more expensive than other options, but honestly, Ginger Cruise was worth every penny. From the moment we stepped on Ginger Cruise, the staff treated us like royalty. The junior room was gorgeous, super spacious, and that balcony view... wow. We spent the evening sipping cocktails watching the sunset over Lan Ha Bay. Would 100% do it again with 3 days on Ylang cruise.
I booked this to take my mom on her birthday. she loved the tea ceremony and the sunset view from our balcony. staff even surprised her with a cake! i especially loved the cooking class and kayaking in lan ha bay. thank you robert from asia tour deals for recommending this. one of my favorite travel memories!
Loved the slower pace and attention to detail on this Ginger cruise. Our guide was super knowledgeable and passionate. The boat’s design is beautiful very modern with traditional touches. My only regret is that we didn’t book the 2-night cruise of Heritage line. Also, big thanks to Robert from Asia Tour Deals for suggesting Ginger you nailed it.
I’ve done Halong Bay cruises before but nothing like this one. The Ginger is small and elegant, with excellent service and amazing food. A little expensive but totally worth it!!

FranceI didn't know I needed this until I stepped onboard. The room was stunning like a floating boutique hotel! Loved the bathtub with the huge window. Food was... omg, just wow. And that little cooking class on the deck at sunset made me feel like a Vietnamese chef for 10 minutes :))). Would do again in a heartbeat.
