Today, you'll get to explore some of the most iconic sites around Angkor. Your first stop will be the South Gate of Angkor Thom, also known as Big Angkor, an ancient walled and moated city that served as the last capital of the Angkor Empire, covering about 3 square kilometers.
Next, you'll visit the famous Bayon Temple, an architectural puzzle built over more than a century with a mix of styles. Then, enjoy the Terrace of the Elephants, a striking 300-meter-long wall decorated with carved elephants, located in front of the Baphuon temple—an impressive mountain-shaped temple dedicated to Hindu gods.
You'll also see the Royal Palace area and Phimeanakas, a magnificent sandstone pyramid. At the north end of the terrace, stop by the Terrace of the Leper King, known for its detailed carvings of naga serpents, demons, and mythological creatures.
The final stop of the morning is Ta Prohm temple, famously entwined with giant trees growing over and through the ruins—truly a breathtaking sight!
For lunch, you are on your own.
In the afternoon, visit Angkor Wat, the most famous temple built in the 12th century by King Suryavarman II. It was dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu and features a unique pyramid-like design surrounded by alleys, ditches, and courtyards—an architectural masterpiece.
After exploring, you can enjoy some leisure time at the bars and pubs at Angkor Night Market.

This morning, we'll visit Wat Thmei, also known as the Killing Field. Inside, there's a glass-walled stupa which holds the bones of victims of the Khmer Rouge. Some of these bones were found in a nearby well, while others are remains of soldiers who died on a nearby battlefield.
After that, we'll head to Puok, the real birthplace of Artisans d’Angkor silk.
Here, you'll see the full process of making silk—from the silkworms munching on mulberry leaves to spinning their cocoons, which are used to create silk threads. You'll also get to see silk weaving in action and have the opportunity to buy high-quality silk products as authentic Cambodian souvenirs.
Next, we'll visit West Baray Big Pond, an ancient water reservoir built by the Khmer civilization. Feel free to grab lunch on your own.
In the afternoon, we'll explore the Floating Villages, located about 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Here, you can ride in a traditional wooden boat on Tonle Sap, Cambodia's Great Lake and Asia's largest inland water body.
It’s a great place to see how local Khmer communities live and work.
Then, we'll visit Wat Bo, an 18th-century temple known for its impressive wall paintings illustrating the Reamker (Ramayana). These murals are believed to date back to the late 19th century. We'll also stop at the local market.
Later, we'll return to visit Les Artisans d'Angkor – Chantiers École, which offers some of the finest authentic Khmer arts and crafts.
Dinner is at your convenience.

The mix of jungle temples and daily Khmer life made this trip so balanced. Ta Prohm felt wild and ancient. Then Les Artisans d’Angkor showed the future. Beautiful experience all around.
Our guide was gold, funny, patient, and full of stories. He even helped us bargain at the local market. What I loved most was how personal everything felt. It didn’t feel like a big group tour at all.
The night market was buzzing. Got a handmade leather wallet and tried some wild food I don’t even know the name of. Great way to wrap up the day after all that temple walking.
Never thought I’d be this into weaving but watching silk get made at Puok was hypnotic. From worms to scarves, super satisfying to see the whole process. Also snagged a great scarf to take home.
Wat Thmei was a quiet but powerful stop. So many people skip it but it helped me understand Cambodia beyond the temples. This 4 days Siem Reap tour gave more than just pretty photos.
The boat ride on Tonle Sap was super chill. Seeing families live totally on water, school, church, shops, all floating. A nice contrast to the ancient vibes from the temple days before.
I’m not big on early mornings but watching sunrise over Angkor Wat was totally worth it. Our guide found a quiet corner for photos, away from the crowds. Magical start to the day.
Banteay Srei wasn’t in the main itinerary but I added it last minute and wow, the carvings were next-level. Smaller than Angkor Wat but so detailed. Definitely worth the ride out.
Bayon was surreal, but Ta Prohm is where I lost track of time. Those roots crawling over ancient stone felt like nature just took over. I loved how this 4 days Siem Reap tour mixed famous temples with local life too.

Adam,
MalaysiaI usually don’t like group tours, but this one felt relaxed and flexible. There was enough free time to wander or chill. The 4 days Siem Reap tour was packed but not stressful, which I loved.
