Begin your day early with a sunrise experience at the legendary Angkor Wat, one of the essential places to Visit in Cambodia. This morning visit captures the serene beauty of dawn over the ancient temple, reflecting on the water and creating a stunning visual. 

Built-in the 12th century by King Suryavarman II, Angkor Wat is a masterpiece of architectural design, with its iconic five towers dedicated to Vishnu, the Hindu god. 

Here, you’ll enjoy a peaceful breakfast, complete with hot tea or coffee near the temple.

Following breakfast, continue your exploration at the South Gate of Angkor Thom, where grand gates and detailed sculptures await. Inside Angkor Thom, you’ll visit the remarkable Bayon Temple, known for its intricate carvings and massive stone faces. 

Next, we’ll explore the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King, which feature impressive bas-reliefs and Khmer craftsmanship.

The 45-minute trek up a forested path leads to these remarkable carvings, with lush surroundings, local wildlife, and a variety of colorful butterflies. Once you reach the top in Kbal Spean, you can chill by the natural rock pools and the refreshing waterfall.

Start the morning with an ox cart tour to visit a nearby sugar palm village, where you’ll see how farmers live and work in the countryside.

You will join locals in making simple crafts from palm leaves and help plant rice or vegetables, experiencing daily life in Cambodia.

In the afternoon, you’ll learn how to make Krolan (sticky rice in bamboo) and fresh rice noodles. You’ll get to taste your noodles served with fish soup.

Your left half of Cambodia Itinerary 10 days, you will have breakfast at your hotel before traveling to Kampong Thom, a place known for its ancient pre-Angkorian temples. 

You’ll visit Sambor Prei Kuk, a peaceful temple complex north of Kampong Thom. The site has three main temple areas, each dedicated to the god Shiva. You can enjoy walking among these 7th-century temples set in the quiet jungle. 

In the afternoon, you’ll head back to Kampong Thom, check into your hotel, and relax for the evening.

Start day 7 of Cambodia Itinerary 10 days, a journey to Kratie, a lively riverside town famous for its endangered freshwater Irrawaddy dolphins. After grabbing a bite at a local diner, you'll head over to the Cham Ka Lour rubber plantation. 

By the afternoon, you'll be in Kratie after taking the ferry across the Mekong River in the Stung Trong/Krochmar district of Kampong Cham province. Once you arrive, check into your hotel and get comfy for your stay in Kratie.

Later, you’ll head north of town to board a local boat for a chance to spot the rare dolphins along the Mekong. Spend about an hour on the river, then return to the charming, colonial town of Kratie for a relaxing evening.

Note: The opportunity to see these dolphins is limited, as their numbers are low and sightings cannot be guaranteed.

Today, your Cambodia Itinerary 10 days continues as you leave Kratie and journey through Cambodia’s largest rubber-producing area on your way to Kampong Cham. Enjoy the scenic drive, where you can see the vibrant green landscape contrasted with the red basaltic soil of the countryside.

Arriving in Kampong Cham late in the morning, you'll visit the serene Wat Nokor Pagoda. This beautiful 11th-century Mahayana Buddhist shrine features a large reclining Buddha and numerous carved Buddha images that showcase the rich history of the region.

In the afternoon, you will go to Phnom Penh, Cambodia's capital. After checking into the hotel, the evening is free for you to relax or explore Phnom Penh.

On day 9, you’ll take Phnom Penh Tours, the busy capital of Cambodia. The city has wide streets and old colonial buildings that create a special charm. Founded in the 14th century, Phnom Penh is an important trading center where three rivers meet: the Mekong, Tonle Sap, and Bassac.

Your day starts with a guided tour to learn about Cambodia's recent history with many places to visit in Phnom Penh. You will visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the Choeung Ek Killing Fields to understand what happened during the Khmer Rouge period.

Next, you will explore the Russian market. Here, you can find many different items, from motorcycle parts to beautiful gems.

In the afternoon, tourists will visit the Royal Palace, where the royal family lives in Phnom Penh.
